TCF wins Award

For the second consecutive year TCF has been adjudged the winner of the 'Corporate Excellence Award' in the Non-Profit Social Services Organization Sector instituted by the Management Association of Pakistan [MAP]. On May 14, 2009, TCF CEO Mr. Syed Asaad Ayub Ahmad was invited to a formal ceremony where he was presented with the trophy. MAP started presenting national companies its 'Corporate Excellence Award' in 1982 with the objective of recognizing the best managed companies and creating a sense of competition in the corporate sector for achieving excellence.

Initiatives in Education Program

Education Team's master trainers and facilitators designed training modules and successfully completed Training of Trainers of Pre-primary and Primary of 88 hours and Secondary of 100 plus hours in all the four TCF Regions at four locations having 14 groups across Pakistan.

These freshly trained trainers will now be conducting In-service and Pre-service Training 2009 in their own regions this summer. With a change in the Academic Session from August to April, a 6 day's Pre- service Orientation was planned and conducted for all new inductees across TCF Network. February marked a major achievement a three-day Education Conference was successfully organized during which all the regional education managers, cluster education officers and TCF Education department participated. During the conference, TCF Evaluation Team also
designed and conducted a workshop on 'Report writing' and ‘Giving feedback on classroom observation'.
