Margaret Meade, the world-renowned anthropologist once said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed individuals can change the world; indeed it's the only thing that ever has.”
Infact, most of us undermine the significance of our small good deeds, and wonder just how far they would go in making a difference, if at all, in an often discouraging world. But perhaps the best example of a single noble endeavor making years and years of difference, and not in just one life, but many lives for generations to come, is educating a child. It is like a dream investment: no limits to the returns, no risks, and no regrets.
The Principal of one of TCF schools in Machar Colony recently told us about two little brothers in her school whose father, an uneducated laborer at the dock, had put them into an orphanage before their mother brought them to TCF, because he didn’t have the heart to see them turn into petty thieves in the crime-ridden environment surrounding them. It was upsetting to think how many children out there are much less fortunate than those two: Many of them don’t get that chance to be saved, and are subjected to lives made difficult with each passing day due to their lack of education. Many things can wait in life, dear reader, but children cannot. There are not many second chances for a young child born into economic disadvantage, and we, by continuing to believe in the immense power in each of us to make a difference, must act now. Rest assured, it is this commitment, faith and thoughtfulness of our donors across the world that shall always continue to strengthen our drive each day, to change lives forever.

| details will be made available on TCF Website. During the course of the project, the students will be creating contemporary and marketable products, from raw materials such as jute and paper. TCF hopes to expand the scope of the project in the coming years and provide a larger platform to many more students for creating and effectively marketing competitive products even from their own homes.
