The task of operating a constantly growing network of school units is a challenge – but one that TCF is determined to overcome. This task is ever increasing with our network of schools. With 100 more schools expected to become operational by August 2007, we expect our operating budget to increase by at least 30% next year. While building new school units is still a key part of our mission, we must ensure that operating our existing network and ensuring quality education are given equal emphasis.

TCF Team is currently in the process of developing a Sustainable Funding Program (SFP), the goal of which is to provide long-term operating fund support for our schools.

The SFP fund may be an expendable endowment fund, which any donor could create and that would be utilized towards a specific school's support for an agreed tenure. The donor shall have a choice in the kinds of investment options to be utilized.

An SFP partnership, divided into three tiers - Silver, Gold and Platinum - shall be developed based on the number of years of school support provided. Membership of each tier shall carry various features to recognize the partners, such as membership on an advisory board to the organization , participation in an annual conference for networking and exchange of ideas, construction of a Pillar of Commitment (an elegant architectural structure at a high-visibility point in the school), and many more interesting features.

All SFP partners shall receive a special bi-annual report, including highlights from supported schools (recent developments, activities, student profiles, updates on the fund portfolio, interviews of SFP partners and networking opportunities amongst partners from all three tiers).

TCF is currently pilot-testing this program with its long-standing donors before determining a launch plan with new, potential donors. This Program is being launched with the hope that it will go a long way in increasing TCF’s donor base and operating fund support for the country-wide schools in the long run and provide TCF and its supporters with assurance and confidence for the future of its students.
