TCF Student makes it to Aitchison College

Young Saqib Shaukat is the first TCF Student who has made it to one of Pakistan’s prestigious leading educational institution, Aitchison College, Lahore. Built in 1886, Aitchison College’s alumni to date include numerous ambassadors, industrialists, famous sportsmen etc. Aitchison is a semi-private boarding institution for boys aged 3–19.

TCF Family is proud of Saqib from TCF School in Bhai Pheroo, Punjab who is the first TCF Student to have received a full scholarship at Aitchison College. The scholarship was basically initiated by Government of Punjab, asking Aitchison to select Grade VI students from different NGOs and grant them scholarships to complete their studies till ‘A levels’ at the college.

The glimmer of confidence in Saqib’s eyes shows that he has high aims in life. 13 year old, Saqib wants to join armed forces when he grows up. Though he misses his family and his friends from TCF School, he is very enthusiastic about being in Aitchison and among new friends on campus and in dormitory. He is excited to learn foreign languages like French and being exposed to different cultures.

The youngest son of a police constable, Saqib Shaukat realizes that it is his hard work and commitment that will pave the way for other TCF Students to enter Aitchison College in the years to come.
